WOYWW #394

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Christmas is gearing up, I got most of my cards done and mailed, some I will hand deliver, some will just have to wait for Christmas 2017! I have received all of 4 Christmas cards so far this year (2 handmade from stamping friends), which makes me wonder why I go to all the trouble of making handmade cards in the first place! Hopefully we will get more this week which will restore my faith in humanity.

Here is my desk this week:
The arrows are pointing to the reason for the big stacks of stamps - these bookmarks that were buckling - gifts for brother & SIL

Here are the bookmark gifts for the girls in the family-

Hubby gets a pocket calendar that I re-make the cover, but I haven't done it yet.

Here is what I made yesterday in the kitchen - only 24 calories each for anyone inclined to watch calories over Christmas!

And lastly, Inky watching over me as I'm making my bookmarks!

Thanks for visiting, and have a very Merry Christmas, or a Happy Hanukkah!

I love black cats too - Inky is a brilliant name!! Those nibbles look good - are they sweet or savoury? And after all your hard work, I hope that you receive a few more cards too.
Happy Christmas to you and yours,

Hi. Inky is gorgeous. Bookmarks are great. I hope you get some more cards. We were discussing this in a group I'm in and a lot of people saying that many people don't seem to be bothering with cards- I think it's a great shame. Have a wonderful Christmas. Anne x #13

Nice to see Inky joining in the festivities, Lindart! You sound busy. Your cooking looks most intriguing and I'd be very interested to hear more about what those fascinating low-calorie squares are - I'm on a diet and always after nice low calorie options! Thank you for your lovely comnment - yes, things are not too bad at all and my hand is better esp. when taped, and I'm hoping the little splints from Ebay will come soon. It's a busy time with lots of social engagements for us, and meals out so we're out quite a bit at the moment.

Have a lovely Christmas and happy WOYWW,

Bookmarks are a great idea and yours are lovely - I'm sure they will be very well received. Inky is a little cutie - I love black cats and I'm sure he was a big help to you with the bookmarks - he looks like he's intensely concentrating! Hope you have a lovely Christmas,

Your biscuits may have just 24 calories in them, but I would need to eat 20 of them LOL! Inky looks cute perched on your table - cats curiosity must be genetic, but it's so nice to have a little company, isn't it? As long as they don't walk all over your freshly painted surfaces! Lovely bookmarks! I find if something buckles I just gesso the back of them and that usually takes care of it. Wishing you a lovey Christmas! Thanks for visiting earlier! zsuzsa #20

Hi Linda, before I forget, the Lavinia stamps are not all new but some are still in the packets either because they have not been used or because I haven't found them a proper home yet. I noticed you have the book marks under that pile of stamps I use an old cast iron smoothing iron over a craft mat which works well. Hope you get more cards soon though I'm sure you will. Have fun and Merry Christmas, Angela xXx 14

Gorgeous bookmarks! I love the pirate ones. How unique! People don't seem to send as many cards as they used to but I always enjoy receiving them. I remember when I was little Mum used to get a lot and put them all up on string to decorate the room.

Happy Christmas to you and your family

Hi Linda, The book marks are fab. I use to make them, but most of my friends have Kindles or similar.

I usually get more or less the same amount of Christmas cards in that I have sent. It's birthday cards I often don't get till after Christmas (my birthday is Christmas Eve), sometimes with 'Sorry it's late, but I was so busy getting ready for Christmas'. Then I get people who say they'd forgotten it was my birthday. Well come their birthday maybe I will be too busy as well.

Your little biscuits look scrummy.

Inky is lovely. Always nice to have company when crafting.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Happy WOYWW

Now where is the recipe for the 24 calorie tasty bits?
Love the bookmarks, especially the pirate ones.
Your Inky is a lovely family member, how lucky you are to have a pet. We don't have one now as we are getting older and couldn't walk a dog and I hate putting a cat in a cattery when we go away so we are animal-less.
Wishing you all the best for the Christmas Season and wishing you a Very Happy and New Year.
`Hugs, Neet (thanks for visiting me the other day)
