WOYWW #409

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

A lovely Spring Hello to you all! Spring is making an effort here in Eastern Ontario, Canada, here is the view from my bedroom window this morning:

Don't let those awesome shadows fool you, the sun is already gone!

Here is my desk this morning:

My "big" purchase this week with the last of my Michael's Christmas gift card were the Dylusions paints! And they were on sale buy 2 get 1 free, so that was great!

I needed a spot to put my binders to I could easily find my stamps, and I also needed a place to anchor my new goose-neck iPad holder so I can make videos - found them both in this rolling TV stand! I actually did make a video - but when I uploaded it, it had a huge watermark that obliterated the whole thing - so much for "free" video editing. I can't get it off until I buy the license to use it. On to the next one. . . hopefully I can show it next week.

And here is my new journal page, I wanted to use all my new Dylusions paints at once! My daughter just got back from Costa Rica, and this page is very reminiscent of Costa Rican or Guatamalan art!

It is very time consuming, but fun!

And here's Inky, looking for that Spring sunshine, here. . .

and here. . .
but 30 seconds after this photo was taken, it was gone. Won't be back today! Oh well . . that's the fickleness of Spring!

Thank you for visiting, I am now off to peek at your desks!

go to www.Vimeo.com it is free and an excellent service for your videos and allows much more data upload than youtube... your journal page is fab - I think it is impossible for it not to be reminiscent of Dyan Reavley when it is her colours, and not having been to Guatemala I will take your word for it in terms of that style! dxxx #17

Hi Linda, lots to see today! Love the shots of Inky, my black cat used to be the same, following the sun around the house and garden. Very bright journal page, and you really got a good deal with those paints. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #6 Xx

I think you'll love the paints, although I don't use them often, they are fab (and what lush colours!) but do give in to the oxides!! Helen #1

Hi Inky! I don't think my M's has dylusions. I'm holding off on the Oxides hopeing they will get them in and I can snag some with a 55% off coupon. I'vehad several cards fall apart- not even that old- mostly gluestick I think, which is why I've moved to more wet glue. Too cheep to buy tape runners!

I love your Costa Rican inspired art journal page spread. I have a couple of Guatemalan appliqued art pieces framed, that my father got for me when he was there in the 80's. Blessings!

A lovely desk tour Linda! Your colourful journal page looks great! It sounds like Inky enjoys the sunshine as much as Oreo - or any other cat for that matter. Sometimes I wonder how they don't get overheated in that thick fur coat of theirs LOL. Thanks for visiting earlier. Enjoy the rest of your week! zsuzsa #22

Yep, your spring is a bit behind ours, but my word isn't the odd bit of sunshine such a marvellous promise! I love the idea of the gooseneck thingy for holding the tablet.....I'm lacking floor room for such a thing but oh boy it makes some sense! Love The Guatemalan type art, very clever and a joy to behold in such wonderful colours!!
